E’ un concerto - spettacolo di musiche, canti e danze tradizionali del Sud Italia, dalla pizzica pizzica del Salento e della Bassa Murgia alle tammurriate vesuviane, dalle tarantelle della Calabria alle tarantelle del Gargano, di Montemarano e della Lucania.
I musicisti de La Paranza del Geco utilizzano una grande varietà di strumenti musicali: fisarmonica ed organetti diatonici a 2 ed 8 bassi, violino, mandolino, mandola, chitarre classiche e battenti, percussioni tradizionali - marranzani, putipù, scetavajasse, triccheballacche, tamburi a cornice - tamburelli e tammorre, flauti tradizionali in canna semplici e doppi, lira calabrese, zampogna a paru, ciaramelle e pipite.
